The best foundation is a SOLID CONCRETE SLAB. This is a CLIENT CONTRACTED Item, to be poured by a Concrete/Masonry Contractor, AT LEAST 48 Hrs. IN ADVANCE of Shed Construction, as per Salt Spray Shed Specifications for EACH Specific Design. A DISCOUNT of $1.00 per sft. is Allowed for the Floor-Frame not needed on a Slab construction.
ON-CAPE UPGRADE - 8 inch Sona-Tubes
Sona-Tubes installed by US - ON CAPE COD ONLY, to offer better support than Concrete Blocks. Placed in corner of building and in Mid-Span for any span over 12''. OFF-CAPE COD --> To be CONTRACTED by Client IN ADVANCE OF SHED CONSTRUCTION - NEED MINIMUM 48 HOURS CURING TIME !!!
STANDARD - 4 inch x 8 inch x 16 inch Concrete Blocks
Solid Concrete BLocks, placed at each corner of the building (Under the Corner Posts) or in MID-SPAN (1 for each 12'' of length) for all sides longer than 12''.
