site visits before ordering
Most projects do not require an on-site visit prior to ordering. In fact, approximately 90% of our projects can move forward using photos, measurements, satellite imagery, and a conversation about the property and the placement area.
Generally speaking, if the site is relatively level, accessible, and free of heavy brush or obstacles, we can typically move forward without a pre-purchase site visit. In situations involving slopes, tight access, elevation changes, permitting questions, unusual placement conditions, or larger custom projects, an on-site consultation may be recommended prior to purchase.

- Site visits within 30 minutes of our office are complimentary.
- Properties located beyond 30 minutes on Cape Cod may incur a $50 travel charge, which will be credited toward your shed project if you move forward with construction.
- Properties located off Cape or beyond the bridge are subject to a travel charge based on distance and scheduling.
- Martha’s Vineyard and Nantucket visits are quoted separately due to ferry scheduling and transportation logistics. Off-Cape and island travel charges are non-refundable and are not applied toward the project balance.

In many cases, additional site visits after ordering are unnecessary prior to construction. If needed, we are often able to stop by a property while our crew is already working in the area to review placement or building conditions.
Dedicated trips or expedited visits outside of our normal scheduling route may incur additional service charges.
