  • Due to the ongoing cedar shingle shortage and sharp price increase, pricing for cedar shingles, including on the Nantucket Boathouse and Cape Cod Cottage, have a surcharge for the cedar shingle siding. ​

The Edgartown Cottage offers a bevy of custom features to create a distinctive design and is only found at Salt Spray Sheds. Standard options include pre-primed trim, double-hung windows, PVC window boxes with scroll brackets, a ridge vent, custom handcrafted, single row of glass transom doors featuring Acorn forged iron hardware.

Additionally, this design includes the highest available roof pitch, designed for a spacious, open concept design. The Edgartown Cottage™ is a perfect addition to a yard scape, designed to enhance your property. In addition, it is the exact right building for those looking to construct an art studio or quiet summer retreat, or guest cottage.

    All custom doors must be painted within two weeks of installation or warranty will be voided.

  • TRIM: Azek, Red cedar, or 5/4 Trim
  • SIDING: Red cedar Sidewall Shingles or clapboard, pre-dipped cedar shingles, Allura fiber cement board. Vinyl siding can be coordinated. *All buildings with shingled or clapboard siding will incur a surcharge due to the shortage and increased pricing. 
  • ROOFING: Red or Alaskan Yellow Cedar Roofing
