Only produced by Salt Spray Sheds, the Nantucket Boathouse™ offers the look and feel of one of the most beautiful places in New England. Each boathouse starts with with custom handcrafted double row of glass transom doors that we accentuate with forged iron hardware from Acorn Mfg.; providing security and complementing the statuesque doors.

Followed by the 7'-4" wall height, the industry’s best white cedar shingles and a Certain Teed architectural asphalt roof with a 30-year warranty, these special touches make the Nantucket Boathouse a focal point of your yardscape.

Our price includes building and taxes. For those customers over the bridge, a delivery charge may apply.

  • HIGHER POSTS: 7'-0" Door height, 7"-4" posts
  • ROOF PITCH: 10/12 (40° angle) same roof as a Cape Style house.
  • ​FOUNDATION: 4" x 8" x 16" Solid Concrete Block
  • FLOOR FRAME: 2" X 6" Pressure Treated Lumber
  • FLOORING:  3/4" CDX Exterior Grade Plywood
  • CUSTOM GABLE DOOR: 6'-0" Double Glass Transom Door built with Specialty P5 Radiata Pine. Optional Fir, and Mahogany, Upgrade Available (Prices available upon request). ​
    All custom doors must be painted within two weeks of installation or warranty will be voided.
    ​*Smaller shed sizes will decrease door size accordingly.
  • HARDWARE: Acorn Bean Strap-Hinges and handles
  • WINDOW: Double-hung window with a screen
  • SIDING: White Cedar Shingles, 5" exposure.
    *All buildings with shingled or clapboard siding will incur a surcharge due to the shortage and increased pricing.
  • ROOFING: 30 Year Architectural Asphalt Shingles.
  • VENTILATION: 8" x 8" Aluminum Louvers.
  • TRIM: Rough Sawn Trim

  • FOUNDATION: Concrete piers (sonotubes) or slab.
  • ​LOFTS: Lofts come in a variety of sizes. We also can create a sleeping loft.

  • DOORS: Sizes ranging from 3’ to 8’ and bead board, single and double row transom. Available in Pine, Fir, Mahogany.

  • SIDING: Red Cedar sidewall shingles or clapboard which comes pre-primed, pre-dipped cedar shingles, and Allura. Vinyl siding can be coordinated with local installers.
  • ROOFING: Red or Alaskan Yellow Cedar
